1.) Go to the official site and click on the Dashboard link in the top navigation bar.
2.) in the navigation pane at the top of your screen, click on My Dropbox from the drop-down menu (if it's not already selected).
3.) From there, click on Settings next to your name at the top of the page and then click on App Settings from that menu (if it's not already selected).
4.) in this window, click on Add Desktop Link under "Website" and enter your username in the text box that appears (the same way as when you signed up for an account - see step 1 above). Then click Save Changes at the bottom right corner of the page when finished!
